Clos des Ronceveaux is a plot of Domaine la Bruyère, located above the Paul Buisse Cellars in Montrichard. Planted on clay-limestone soil, the vines produce mostly Sauvignon blanc, of the Touraine appellation, and also Sauvignon Rose, also known as "Fié gris".
This little known variety is a relative of Sauvignon blanc and produces subtle pink grapes. The vine stocks are around fifty years old. We pay special care and attention to this cuvée which is matured on fine lees and then aged in oak casks for several months, which gives a dry white wine with woody notes and hints of vanilla.
